"I may have been one of Carrie's first customers but since she was a former colleague and more recently a good friend, it was easy to give her the business. We probably looked at 30 places together over two days. On the last stop before she drove me back to the airport, she convinced me to look at some new industrial units which were very different than all the places that we had looked at in that price range at that time. As soon as we walked in the place, we both knew it was "the one" even though you're not supposed to be emotionally attached to buying property. The process was stressful because it was a new building and the move-in date kept changing. I was relocating back to San Francisco and had fixed deadlines on moving out of my condo in LA.
